“FRIENDS”
For children age 4 through to Grade 4
“Friends” is an effective way for children age 4 to grade 4 to build lasting relationships with God, other children, and adults! Kids will discover how simple and fun it can be to grow in their faith, in their outreach and in their actions! Each week starts with an Opening Celebration then children join their small group and “Circle of Friends” as they rotate through Discovery Centers to explore and reinforce the Bible point. They will also take time for discussion, journaling, prayer and reflection with their leaders.

Weekly Components:
Opening Celebration - large group opening
Games - Cooperative Games
Projects-With-A-Purpose - Crafts or projects focus on serving others [every other week]
Surprise Station - They’ll never know what to expect! Science experiments, unique projects, or special guests will keep kids’ interest [every other week]
Small Group time & Snack - By discussing questions with their leader and participating in reflection, life application, and prayer, children will build relationships with other friends, their leaders and especially Jesus! Colorful journals, questions & thoughts help children apply the Bible lesson to their life!
Receive Bible Cards - Children receive Bible cards for attending, learning their memory verse, or bringing a friend. These cards feature colorful paintings of heroes of the faith. On the back of each card are “Statistics”, “Most Known For”, “Memory Verse”, “Lesson”, and “For Further Study”.
“DRIVING FORCE”
GRADE 5 & 6 MINISTRY
…. help preteens realize that Jesus should be the Driving Force of their life! This series will teach them how to make Him first through studying the life of Christ and will give them practical applications to develop into daily habits.
In today's Children's Ministries we find the 5th & 6th graders in a world all to themselves. Too old to really participate with the children and too young to participate in the Youth Ministries. This ministry will help preteens approach the daily issues of life from a biblical perspective. Each week they will burn energy through a game time and then they will be engaged in exploring topics relevant to them. Games, activities, special events and small group time will help build meaningful friendships and encourage outreach.
Community Outreach
Kids Connection Kids Connecting With Kids! Teaching our kids to express the love and compassion of Christ through building relationships with kids within their schools and community. Kids will kick off the night with a group game then divide into groups and rotate between craft/activity, Bible teaching with small group time. Every Thursday night from 6:30—7:45pm at Prince Charles School located at 75 Ritchie Avenue for those in Grade 1 - grade 6. This is a great opportunity for families to serve together!
